I bought the book to hear specific insights of Sam Harris' discussions with his guests, but this book is a text form podcast conversation of his favorite discussions on consciousness and futurekind. Maybe this is the type of book that's meant to only be fully enjoyed by those with a deeper background in philosophy, I don't know, but I was ultimately disappointed by how little I got from it.
